Aaron Tomlinson has been in ministry since the age of 19. During that time, he has served in many capacities with churches and non-profit organizations. He is the founding and senior pastor of New Day Church in Pueblo Colorado. He earned a degree in Theology graduating summa cum laude from Foundations Bible College. He also graduated summa cum laude from Ashford University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and holds a Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Adams Sate University. Aaron has a gift for explaining the Word of God with prophetic insight that challenges the status quo but also empowers people to experience God and His kingdom in greater ways. Aaron and his wife Julie have the joy of raising their two boys Elijah and Josiah. Next to his relationships with God and his family, Aaron's greatest passion is to bring others to wholeness and victory so they can enjoy abundant life and possess their inheritance as sons and daughters of God.
Nick and Joanne Pullara made New Day Church their home church in March of 2003. Since then, they have experienced abundant growth and development in their Christian walk. Nick and Joanne were ordained as Pastors in April of 2011, and oversee NDC’s Care Ministries. They serve as leaders of New Day’s Healing Ministry Team with a powerful healing anointing. Their passion and desire is to see believers walk in healing, freedom, power and victory. Nick and Joanne were brought up in Christian homes. Nick accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior when he was 11, Joanne when she was 26, and both have been baptized in the Holy Spirit.
On a personal note, Nick is a native of Pueblo, CO and Joanne is a native of St. Louis, MO. They have been happily married for 33 years and have four wonderful boys, three beautiful daughters-in-law, (soon to be four) one handsome grandson, Landon and two adorable granddaughters, Molly and Emma!
Laurie Daugherty is New Day Church’s Worship & Arts Ministry Leader. She is a Pueblo native and began an early career in music at the age of 5 singing “America the Beautiful” in her elementary school talent show. Laurie’s love of music and drama continued on through her college years as she participated in years of piano lessons, choir performances, high school and college plays. In 1991 at the age of 29, Laurie experienced a life transforming change when she was filled with The Holy Spirit and encountered an intimacy with The Lord in worship. Her desire is to lead others into a similar experience and her passion, energy and prophetic edge are evident in her style as a worship leader. Laurie has also directed numerous full scale musicals and works well with all ages of aspiring musicians and actors. She and her husband, Mike, live in Pueblo West. They have 5 children and recently welcomed the arrival of their first grandchild.
John and Jackie Horton are natives of Pueblo, Colorado. John and Jackie have been happily ministering to the children at New Day church since 2005. Jackie holds a professional teaching license from the state of Colorado, and has been teaching students in public schools since 2003. She is currently working to earn her Master's degree in Professional School Counseling. John has worked with kids and youth in Christian ministry since 2004. During their time in children's ministry, John and Jackie have discovered that true freedom in Christ Jesus can be seen in the minds and actions of the children who attend New Day Church, and consider blessed to be an integral part of God's plan and purpose for Pueblo, Colorado.
Shelly Nafziger coordinates New Day Church’s Life Coaching Ministry and has a deep passion to personal ministry for freedom from emotional and spiritual bondages. Shelly holds Practitioner Certification from Patterns for Renewing Your Mind International. In addition, she became a Registered Nurse in 1984 and holds a current R.N. license. She has been ministering freedom to the body of Christ since 1998.
